Mt Hutt Sesshin - Summer
Tentative dates: 12 - 16 December 2025 at the Mt Retreat Centre, Canterbury Led by Mary Jaksch Roshi, Sean Weaver Sensei, and Shona Pierce Sensei.
Sesshin: ‘touching the heart-mind’ - an ancient tradition to allow a deep and extended period of intimate awareness that is often hard to find in our busy lives. Where: Mt Hutt Retreat. Location: Hart Rd RD 12 Rakaia, Canterbury
When: Starting Friday 12th December at 6:00pm and finishing just before noon on Tuesday 16th December. Cost: 2 Day Option: $230; 4 Day Option: $330. If cost is a major barrier to participation, please get in touch. |

Dunedin Rohatsu Sesshin - Summer
5 - 12 December 2025 at Quarantine Island, Otago Harbour The Dunedin Zen group is happy to announce the dates of our 27th Spring Sesshin held on the wonderful Kamau Taurua, Quarantine Island in Otago Harbour.
Led by Glenn Wallis Roshi and Scott Wilson Sensei. Where: Kamau Taurua (Quarantine Island), Dunedin. When: Starting Friday 5th December at 3pm when boarding the boat at Back Beach, Port Chalmers, and finishing at 3pm at Back Beach on Friday 12th December. Cost: Weekend option: $180; Full Retreat: $450-$550 (you select your fee on this scale). Registration deadline: 21 November 2025 |
