Dear Members of the New Zealand Diamond Sangha, This to announce that I will be appointing Arthur Wells as a teacher in the Diamond Sangha in a Sesshin from February 20-24, 2008 in Christchurch. Arthur has been my student since 1993 and has completed koan study with me. His eye is clear. His heart is compassionate. He is a natural born teacher. I?m sure that he will inspire students wherever he teaches. The Sesshin in February 2008 will be my last Sesshin in New Zealand. The last fourteen years of contact with you have enriched my life and practice. Thank you. I will be co-teaching the February 2008 Sesshin with Mary Jaksch Roshi and Glenn Wallis Sensei, who will be joining me to support Arthur as he steps into teaching.
